It is intended to determine the actual configuration used by MinimServer, which will probably confirm your reported transcode issue. If so, you then have the ability to set the configuration as you require. (14-09-2021 12:53)sgreen Wrote: So I was thinking if there is something else that I am doing wrong. By ignoring Simon's advice and simply restating the transcode result is not correct is not helping to progress the issue. |

RE: MinimServer2 - Transcription does not to work
This output from MinimWatch means that MinimWatch hasn't been able to find MinimServer on your network. This could be because you need to set the ohnet.subnet property in MinimWatch or for some other reason.
Please check the minimwatch.log file in the minimwatch/data directory for a message like this: Active subnet is 192.168.0.0 If the subnet shown isn't the correct subnet for the device running MinimServer, you need to set the ohnet.subnet property in MinimWatch. What subnet is shown in minimwatch.log and what is the IP address of the device running MinimServer? |

RE: MinimServer2 - Transcription does not to work
To set the ohnet.subnet property, use the following commands:
select watch prop ohnet.subnet=192.168.0.0 props The final props command is just to confim that ohnet.subnet has been set correctly. Now exit MinimWatch and restart it. If you have a network adapter that is configured with subnet 192.168.0.0, MinimWatch should select this adapter and subnet and should find MinimServer. You should see output like this: Selected media server: MinimServer[myNAS] MinimServer[myNAS] is running You can now use the props command to see the current settings of all MinimServer properties. You can also use the profile show command to see the settings for the active profile. |
