FFMPEG Normalize audio
Hello,

I wonder if it is possible to normalize volume level using FFMPEG on the fly ?

I found this :
https://bytesandbones.wordpress.com/2017...28-filter/

Sound like it can be used as a base work, but it write a new file. Since Minim with minimstreamer look like to do the same, how can one achieve le volume normalisation without resample all is files ? if possible...

With MinimServer 2 it will be easy to create a dedicated profile if it's possible.

Thank you,
Manu

If you have replay gain tags in your files then you can achieve this using information in this thread.

Thank you, I'll give a try to this. Is this string OK :

convOut=-af aresample=resampler=soxr:precision=33:cheby=1:dither_method=triangular -af volume=replaygain=track

RE: FFMPEG Normalize audio
You need to combine the filters into a single -af option, like this:

convOut=-af "aresample=resampler=soxr:precision=33:cheby=1:dither_method=triangular,volume=replaygain=track"
