I have a QNAP TS419PII and ran minimserver before successfully. Wanted to upgrade to MinimServer 2 but fail to understand which version I should download and install..
I've tried all three ARM version. I can't install v7 or v8. ARMv5 is the only one which does install but then I keep getting an error message in the system logs about needing to install the correct version..

which version should I be installing?

You need the ARMv5 package. I have just confirmed that this installs successfully on my TS-119 using manual install.

Which version of the JRE package do you have installed? It should be JRE 8.151.2. Older versions of MinimServer used the JRE_ARM package but this is no longer current and should be removed if you have it installed, as described in this section.

Correct, it is a ARMv5.

I run a TS-419P+

I also installed the package for the wrong ARM and ended up with a Nas that tied to install that wrong version everytime it restarts.

Got that solved via the QNAP forums.

I'm looking to find out what this is or how to determine which version I have. Found it. It was installed but not started. Seem's with this started, package v5 installed was okay...

I thought I had this resolved but I note that I am seeing the same error message every time my TS-419II restarts. Which is early every morning.

I thought I had updated the JRE thingy as required. But don't really have any idea about all this. So versions attached as screenshots.

These packages are correct. What happens after you see the message? Is MinimServer working or not working? If it is not working, what happens when you restart it manually?

Yep minimserver works fine or as I expect it to. So let sleeping dogs lie I guess. I am just reminded by sea of red when I check the system logs.

Please post an extract or screenshot from the log so that I can ask QNAP what is causing this.
