that;s where it used to show up, but no longer, disappeared around the same time as i was getting the upgrade to minim 2.0 msg.

confirmed that PC and iphone are on the same wifi network.

This sounds like a multicast discovery problem with your network (see this section). Did something about your network change when this happened? For example, did you get a new router?

i'm checking that page - thanks.
nope no changes to router. all i can think of is upgrading minim (forced to) and updating to iOS 14.5.
i just opened up port fwd on 9790 just in case; it wasnt the case before.

How is port forwarding involved? Are you accessing MinimServer from a remote location? MinimServer also uses ports 9791 (TCP) and 1900 (UDP multicast).

seems like its an iOS 14.5 issue. i fired up my old android (samsung galaxy S4) phone and foobar on there is able to find my minimserver.
