Minimserver Installation: 404 Error
Hi,

I'm trying to install Minimserver 0.8 on my Antipodes CX server but it prompts a "404 Error" page during the start of the installation. May the admin look into this please?

Thank you very much!

Lorenz

RE: Minimserver Installation: 404 Error
Please see this page https://minimserver.com/downloads/

MinimServer 0.8 has been replaced by MinimServer 2

Was this link you followed on a web page on the MinimServer site?

RE: Minimserver Installation: 404 Error
The Antipodes CX is trying to invoke a MinimServer 0.8 download page programatically. Because MinimServer 0.8 has been replaced by MinimServer 2, the download pages for MinimServer 0.8 have been removed and this is why you are getting a 404 error.

I have added a redirect instruction to the MinimServer download server that should redirect this programmatic download request to the equivalent page for MinimServer 2. Please try again now and let me know if there is any change.

RE: Minimserver Installation: 404 Error
Hello Simon,

Yes, today I tried to install MinimServer again and indeed I was led to install MinimServer 2.
However, when I click the download button, the webpage shuts down and I was redirected back to the Antipodes Software Manager.
Are you able to resolve this or the problem comes from Antipodes?

Thanks again.

RE: Minimserver Installation: 404 Error
Which web browser (and version) are you using? It might be possible to change a configuration setting to make this work.

I'm using the latest Safari on my iPad. I will try doing this on my Mac using Firefox next.

An update after trying installation on my Mac Firefox. Same thing happens.
The download page is:
https://minimworld.com/download-server.p...inimserver

After clicking on the Download button, the page closes.

I just tried this, behaviour is the same (Firefox, Windows 10), the page closes.

RE: Minimserver Installation: 404 Error
On Firefox, please try the following:

1) In the Firefox address bar, type about:config
2) Accept the warning prompt
3) Click Show All
4) Scroll down to network.http.referer.defaultPolicy
5) Change the value from 2 to 3
6) Reload the Antipodes page for installing MinimServer
7) Try the installation again

When you are prompted to accept the MinimServer license terms, you should see the line 'Referrer URL' in small print at the bottom of the page. What value do you see for this?

I also tried Edge, the download works.
