HD Homerun dvb-c radio to musiccast

i stumbled on your software in search for the answer to my problem.
i made a m3u playlist of the dvb-c radiostations on my hd homerun.

Installed your software with the streamer on my nas. And now i am stuck
VLC plays it without problems. unfortunally the musiccast app doesn't
This is the codec information i got from VLC

If i look at the internetradiostations musiccast does play those are mp3.

I don't think this URL is correct. All URLs starting with 192.168 are local to your home network.

Edit: I think I understand what you are doing. The limitation is probably with MusicCast rather than MinimServer. MinimServer supports all MPEG layers.

Yes i also think the problem is with the limitations of musiccast. Is there a way to transcode these streams into mp3? Since that is what musiccast itself is using for streams. Most of the podcasts it list don't work. and i think thats reason why.

You could try this:

with MinimStreamer installed and the stream.transcode property set to *:mp3. Adding [NPO] to the stream name routes the stream via MinimStreamer, which makes it possible to use transcoding. I can't try this myself as I don't have access to an MPEG Audio layer 1/2 (mpga) stream. For more information, see this page.

I also looked in the manual of one of my musiccast speakers and my generation WX010 WX030 RXS601D ISX18D WXAD10 support the following formats over DLNA: WAV(PCM only), MP3, WMA, MPEG-4 AAC, FLAC, ALAC, AIFF (only 1 or 2 channel)
I have seen more subjects about this.

FLAC is troublesome according to my dutch manual. it needs server side support.

Donations have stopped now that MinimServer 2 is here and MinimStreamer has a license fee from 31st March.
