Heavy CPU load by browsing Komposers
Hi,
I searched for a composer and I didn't get results. The cpu load grows to maximum. I didn't see this before.
I use 2.0.18 update 188 on Synology DS1817+
Regards Jürgen

RE: Heavy CPU load by browsing Komposers
Is this a search or browse? Which control point are you using and what exactly did you do on the control point? Did MinimServer come out of the high CPU after a while or stay in it forever?

RE: Heavy CPU load by browsing Komposers
Hi Simon,

I used Linn App, Lumin App or Kinsky.
It the same with all control points.
This is browsing by composer.
So for example, I went in Lumin app to the folder view, chose "composer" and or example browse to "F".
The minim went to highest load for a couple of minutes.

Regards Jürgen

indexArtwork is an option in the serverOptions property of MinimServer.

RE: Heavy CPU load by browsing Komposers
Hi Simon,

something is wrong with 188.
I went back to 2.0.18 update 187 and everything works as known.
The CPU load rises up to about 80 percent just for a view seconds.
Browsing works with 187.

Jürgen

RE: Heavy CPU load by browsing Komposers
I have withdrawn update 188 while I investigate this issue further and implement a fix for the other problem that has been reported.

RE: Heavy CPU load by browsing Komposers
MinimServer update 189 has been released to replace the withdrawn update 188. See the Release notes page for details of the problems fixed.

I am not seeing a problem with high CPU load on update 189. Please let me know if this is still an issue.
