#AudioQuality
I’ve just tried the #AudioQuality value in the itemTags property of MinimServer 2 but I’ve noticed HD+ is never displayed in Kazoo even though I’ve got quite a lot of 24/192 and 24/176 albums. I can only see CD or HD...

Also, no info is given (CD, HD etc) if the files are wav files - so you can’t transcode from flac to wav (which is what I usually do)...

Does anybody know why the HD+ symbol isn’t showing?

Thanks for any help!

RE: #AudioQuality
Are you using tag formatting to add the audio quality to the Kazoo display? What is your tagFormat setting? I have tried this and HD+ is displayed where appropriate.

Adding the audio quality to the Kazoo display is working for me with WAV files as well as with other files that are transcoded to WAV.

It might help if you could post screenshots showing the problem.

RE: #AudioQuality
Thanks for your reply Simon.

That’s where I’ve been going wrong - I haven’t got anything in the tagFormat setting. I’ve just read the instructions in the Tag Formatting section but it’s above my head.

Can you tell me what I should type in there...?

Many thanks, again!

PS I did manage to create a new Index Tag using #AudioData:Resolution which creates a new tile in the main Kazoo index page.

RE: #AudioQuality
If you want to see this information for each album in your library, you can use this:

Album.displayFormat={$album^$#audioquality^ [^]}

RE: #AudioQuality
Thanks Simon - it works perfectly!

I think in my first post I wasn´t making myself very clear - I was originally referring to the HD label at the end of each track. Please note the Stephen Hough screenshot - the album title says HD+ but each track is listed as HD. The Abba album is a wav file and the CD labels at the end of each track are missing.

Is that how it should look?

Thanks again!

RE: #AudioQuality
Thansk for clarifying. I wasn't seeing these in Kazoo because I have everything transcoded to WAV.

I have no idea why Kazoo doesn't show this information for WAV streams. The resolution is available as part of the metadata sent by the server and Kazoo shows it if you select "info" for the track.
