Getting a boxset to display properly in LinKazoo
            Hi Simon and all,

I posted this first on the SongKong site - but Paul has said everything g is fine with the way the Meta data is listed and suggested I posted here for Simon to take a look - hope that is OK!!

I have a 16 CD set of Bach Organ works (another one) - I the gone through the same process as I did for the Hurford set and It is possible to get it to display as a single box set. The thing I am having difficulty with is how it ‘presents itself’ in Linn Kazoo. - all the other boxsets I have done this with show themselves as Disc 1 - ,… and then a list of the pieces then Disc 2 - … and a list of pieces like this

See the attached file please

for some reason though the first screen I see with this set is a series of 300+ grids listing the tracks like this

See the second attached file please-

it is only if I press 'Complete Album on the first screen that I get the presentation I am looking for (and the one I get with all my other box sets). - I am sure it must be something very simple - but I am blowed if I can find it - and I am still sat here in frustration!!! Could someone offer some helpful suggestions please?

Thanks

Mark

In addition to your missing attachments, could you also provide details of the MinimServer properties and probably also information about the folder names and relevant tag details of these errant tracks.

Attachments now in place

Sorry - not sure what you mean by MinimServer properties!

The problem with the display of this box set is caused by your browsing selection (the screen titled "Bach: Complete Organ Works Koopman") not containing the complete contents of the "Bach: Complete Organ Works Koopman" album (as defined by the tags that you have in your library).

How did you navigate to the screen titled "Bach: Complete Organ Works Koopman"? Is this the name of a folder that you accessed via [folder view] or did you select it by browsing via tags such as Artist and Album?

Hi Simon
I got to this as with the other Bach - through Composer selection - when I do it for the Peter Hurford Bach Organ works I get it in the Disc 1, Disc 2, Disc 3 display - when I do it for the Ton Koopman Bach Organ work as you see here - I get 300+ grids of individual tracks - Only when I then click on 'Complete Album' do I get Disc 1, Disc 2, Disc 3 etc as you see in the 2 attachments.

I hope that makes sense

M

It sounds like you started by selecting Composer: Bach. What did you see then and what did you select? Can you post screenshots showing exactly what you saw and selected at each step before getting to the screen with the problem?

So yes - in Kazoo - go to composer and get the following.
