Hello: I have a lumin audio streamer. It suggest that I use minim server for this the model of the nas is (DS123+) it has the latest synology software upgrade. however I cannot get
the java from oracle, it may have be discontinued from their site. the link you have opens up the site but the file does not download, I called oracle but they have no phone support for java. Due you have any idea where the file can be obtained other than oracle. |

RE: minim server java for synology drive
I checked the Oracle download and it is working for me. When I click the file to download it, I get a prompt asking me to sign in to my Oracle account. Do you get this prompt? If not, I suggest you try a different browser.

RE: minim server java for synology drive
Java 8 is available from the All packages tab within the Package Centre.
At least it is on a Synology DS213j. |

RE: minim server java for synology drive
You need to do the following:
1) Open this page 2) In the Download column, click on "ejdk-8u6-fcs-b23-linux-ppc-e500v2-12_jun_2014.tar.gz" 3) A page should open asking you to login to your Oracle account 4) If you have an Oracle account, login to it. If you don't have an account, create one and then login. 5) The file will be downloaded |
