This one is from file station from app data of the new installatie of today.

Before the new install I deleted all double and flac version of 2005-Duets, only kept the .wav version in folder 2005-Duets 16-44 wav. After this I re installed

RE: Music Missing
Thanks for this. There are some warnings about four of the files in this folder.

Warning: final chunk is smaller than minimum chunk size in WAV file Ane Brun/2005-Duets 16-44 wav/Ane Brun-Duets-05-Stop (feat. Liv Widell).wav (length 39296570)
Warning: final chunk is smaller than minimum chunk size in WAV file Ane Brun/2005-Duets 16-44 wav/Ane Brun-Duets-07-Easier (feat. Ane Brun, Martin Hederos).wav (length 38466346)
Warning: final chunk is smaller than minimum chunk size in WAV file Ane Brun/2005-Duets 16-44 wav/Ane Brun-Duets-09-Such A Common Bird (feat. Ane Brun).wav (length 39757586)
Warning: final chunk is smaller than minimum chunk size in WAV file Ane Brun/2005-Duets 16-44 wav/Ane Brun-Duets-10-Song No. 6 (feat. Ron Sexsmith).wav (length 42295386)

It is possible that all the files in this folder have an incorrect format that MinimServer is unable to read. Please upload one of these four files to my FTP server so that I can investigate the problem. I will send you a PM with the server details.

OK I have to figure out how to upload. Meanwhile is Minimserver2 on the Melco N1Z able to read de files.
In a different post I found that coverting the corrupted files to a other format could solve this problem.
The wav You found was converted by dbpoweramp from flac to wav

RE: Music Missing
Thank for uploading the files. I noticed that the filenames are different from those in your File Station screenshot. For example, the uploaded file

Ane Brun-Duets-01-Little Lights (feat. Ane Brun).flac

is shown as

Ane Brun-Duets-01-Little Lights.flac

on the Synology. Is it possible that something on the Synology (perhaps the indexing service) is renaming this file so that MinimServer can't find it when you browse the library?

Indexing service on the ds is only checked on Photo and Video folder.
It's in the music file itself, I have been making changes to trigger Minimserver2 to find the changed data as a newly added.
I changed: folder name then created new folder kopied the music, kopied the album from my Melco (where it is scanned properly) to the Synology. No result.
Then I changed the file-names itself. Deleted all idtags in dbpoweramp, converted the Melco version to WAV, Tagged again.

None of the files I uploaded are recognized properly (just found as an album with albumart in folderview mode with an empty track field) by the DS Minimserver2. I can play them from the DS with Foobar, and the Melco install of Minimserver2 finds then as well.
For the record, all newly added music is picked up correctly.

RE: Music Missing
Thanks for explaining why the filenames were not as expected.

Please can you try something else. It is possible that the problem is occurring during the browsing stage rather than the scanning stage. To check this, please do the following:

1) After scanning has completed, select 'Show log' in MinimWatch
2) In the log window, set the logging level to Trace
3) In the log window, click Clear
4) Leave the log window open
5) Browse to the 2005-Duets folder in folder view (only do this once)
6) In the log window, select 'Save as' to save the trace output as a log file
7) Zip this log file and attach it to a post here
8) Set the logging level back to Verbose or Info

Edit: added missing step

Did a re-index run on the ds indexeringservice to be shure, still no Duets. In this post the print screen of File-station corresponding the files I uploaded you.

These were copy of the source file from my windows Desktop in flac shown in 2005-Duets and the converted and re tagged .wav files. Stored in Nas shared music folder.

RE: Music Missing
Thanks for this. Still no clues as to what is going wrong. I tried this on my Synology NAS with the files you uploaded and everything worked OK. I am hoping there will be some useful information in the log file from the test described in this post.
