Minimseerver and apps?
Hi
Use audionet ( working not 100%, must restart minimserver on computer) and bubbleUPnP ( figure this out how this works?)apps
Audionet uses a local SDD for replay music

Like to have a music storage in the cloud to bypass the local external sdd
Are there some new apps who are offering this for minimserver2
(hopefully they work 100 %)

RE: Minimseerver and apps?
MinimServer is for local music only.

Edit: BubbleUPnP can play music from the cloud. I haven't tried this myself.

RE: Minimseerver and apps?
I'm not sure why you'd want to bypass local storage, but seeing as though you seem to want MinimServer involved in any solution then you might want to look into something like s3fs, which is a FUSE filesystem that allows you to mount cloud storage as a local file system.
I haven't tried it myself, I heard about it on one of the podcasts I listen to.

The cloudstorage can be bigger for storing wav albums, but it cost money to enlarge the capacity for in the cloud
Rethinking about this : probably using a local external sdd cost the same cash as a cloud storage

RE: Minimseerver and apps?
The Google price for standard cloud storage is $0.02 per GB per month. For 1 TB, this is $20 per month. A 1 TB 2.5 inch HDD costs about £40. So after about 3 months, the local storage is cheaper.
