Decade sorting?

Hi Simon!

As usual, a big thanks for Minimserver! It is so good and leaves the "competition" way behind. It enhances music listening so much when you start to take care of tagging.

One more feature that would be really nice (the only thing that currently makes Asset special) is sorting by decade.

It really makes sense to browse that way rather than by each year.

Do think this is something worth considering?

It shouldn't be difficult to add this option. The next release is in final testing now, so I think this will need to wait for the following release.

Hi Simon.
In an earlier response to Cableguy, you mentioned that you would look into adding decade sorting to Minimserver. Can you give an update on this? Will this be in the next version?
It would be great if we could have the functionality to browse thru the 70's, the 80's and so on :-)

This will be supported in the next release. If you select this option, the Date index will be organized by decades and there won't be any index entries for individual years.
