HLS stream to radio.
Hi,
I wonder if you could help me please. My main system is running Minimserver from my Synology NAS with music and BBC HLS streams using Linn Kazoo.I can also access my music on my home radios but cannot access BBC streams.Minimserver and MinimStreamer are both up to date.In my Synology NAS I have a file BBC Radio which is Radio.m3u.On opening this it states no files are available.I note that on my IMac in Downloads I have downloaded the Radio m3u stations. When I click on one of those it opens iTunes and is described as an internet song.
I am just wondering if there is a simple way to access these BBC streams to my radios without altering my main system which has taken some time to set up.Any help would be very much appreciated.

RE: HLS stream to radio.
Please post the contents of your Radio.m3u file. This might need some changes to make the HLS streams playable by your radios.

RE: HLS stream to radio.
Please open your Radio.m3u file in a text editor and copy and paste the contents of this file (as shown in the text editor) to a post here.

RE: HLS stream to radio.
Please update this file by changing *R1 to R1;aac with similar changes for all the other entries. This might solve the problem. If not, please let me know and I will make further suggestions.

RE: HLS stream to radio.
Did you rescan the MinimServer library after editing the file?

RE: HLS stream to radio.
OK, the next step is to set the stream.transcode property to either aac:L16 or aac:wav. After each change, restart MinimServer.
