It sounds like you might have installed Java for Intel Macs instead of Java for M1 Macs (Apple Silicon). See this section for details of how to install the correct version. Before doing this, uninstall the Intel version of Java by following the instructions in this section.

I like the features and customization properties of MinimServer very much.
But it is a big drawback not to have a genres list, when you have a big and well maintained data base.

I tested Minimserver on Synology DS118 and Windows 10 Pro.

Thanks for testing this and providing feedback. This feature is now generally available in MinimServer update 245.

Because not all tracks from this album are from the Jazz genre, MinimServer uses its normal display for an incomplete album (UPnP container type object.container instead of object.container.album.musicAlbum). It seems that the HEOS control point doesn't show artwork and artist information if the container type is object.container.

This is not related to the new support for Genre browsing. For example, you should see the same when browsing the Artists container if an album has different artists for different tracks.
