McAfee considers minimwatcher a virus
For some reason, McAfee WebAdvisor considers minimwatcher a virus.
Any ideas? Thanks |

RE: McAfee considers minimwatcher a virus
This has come up from time to time. The warning is incorrect. I don't use McAfee so I haven't seen it myself. Does McAfee have a way to allow you to override the warning and download and install MinimWatch?

Is there a way, as the developer, to ask McAfee so analyze manually and remove it from their scanner? Thanks |

RE: McAfee considers minimwatcher a virus
I checked on the McAfee website. This submission needs to be made by the user because McAfee needs information about the exact McAfee software version in use as well as the file that was falsely rejected. See "I think I have a false positive" on this page for how to make the submission. Please let me know how you get on with this.

I emailed them last week. I haven't heard anything yet.
