JRELoadError

I have just tried to download mininserver on my MacBook running MacOS Sierra vsn 10.12.6. It downloaded but when I click on the icon I get the message JRELoadError. I believe this is something to do with Java. There is no Java icon in System preferences. Any help gratefully received.

It would be helpful to know if you followed the install instructions that can be found at this install-macosx-mserver page.

If you have, can you indicate at which point your install differed to that described.

Thanks for the pointer. The Java hadn't loaded properly. Went through it again and now it works.
