MinimServer support for NETGEAR ReadyNAS
There's a test build available for the Intel and ARM models of ReadyNAS. Please see this page for details of how to download and install it.

RE: MinimServer support for NETGEAR ReadyNAS
Hi Simon,

thank you for making this addon available. I have just tried to instlal the x86.bin file on my ReadyNAS NVX (Intel architecture) and I get the error-message "Add-On is not valid for this architecture".

Any idea?

Many thanks

Was this the EJRE .bin file or the MinimServer .bin file? Which version of RAIDiator are you using?

RE: MinimServer support for NETGEAR ReadyNAS
I use the latest radiator, which is 4.2.22. The error message does not specify at which step the error occurs. I have attached a screenprint.

EDIT: Oh sorry: THe file was actually the Minimserver.bin file !! I've got Java already installed and running on the NAS

There's a problem with the way the x86 .bin file was built. I'm working on a fix now.

If you open a shell on your NVX, and type

echo $MACHTYPE

what is displayed?

Thanks! Please re-download both the x86 packages (EJRE and MinimServer) and try again.

RE: MinimServer support for NETGEAR ReadyNAS
Hi Simon,

just tried that and get the same error (noticed that the time stamp of the bin file has not changed compared ot the earlier one - maybe its not yet updated ??)

I did not reinstall the EJRE package though, as Java is already running fine on the NAS.

RE: MinimServer support for NETGEAR ReadyNAS
I have stopped my previous (manual) install of Minim 0.63 but not deleted it. I assume that is no problem from the guidelines on your webpage?
