Minim/Sonos server on the same Linux micro computer
Hi again.
I fully understand the issues with Sonos's feeble support of the open Upnp server protocol, and why minim server can't be integrated in Sonos. So if I shift my library onto something like one of these tiny Linux bot devices (and run minimserver for my upnp streamers, what Linux program do I need to get to serve up an smb share to my Sonos as well? Same library. Just want to run separate servers. Minim AND an smb share as my main music library within Sonos. Anybody know what I should be loading onto Ubuntu to do this? Thanks. |

If it's not in your Linux distro already, you should be able to install it very easily. |

Oh yeh. Thanks. Of course! Der.... hahaha. Ubuntu should have built in SAMBA already. Once that's up and running it should serve up the library to Sonos. Thanks for the heads up.
