QNAP 0.8.5.2 Update Problem
I have just updated MinimServer on my QNAP to 0.8.5.2. Now MinimServer no longer shows in my control points, and when I run MinimWatch on my Mac I get a red minim and the message "integrity check failed for file minim server.config".

RE: QNAP 0.8.5.2 Update Problem
Please do the following:

1) In the QNAP App Center, select Stop from the MinimServer icon
2) In the Public share of the NAS, you will find a file named minimserver-diag.tar.gz
3) Attach this file to a post here

This file contains diagnostic information. I will take a look at the information in the file and let you know what to do next.

Thanks for all your help, Simon. Now sorted.

Can I safely delete the old JRE_ARM 8.65.0 app from my QNAP?

RE: QNAP 0.8.5.2 Update Problem
You should delete JRE_ARM and ignore any error message from QNAP QTS warning you not to do this.

I will try to work out why you got the integrity check error. Was there a MinimStreamer recording running when you did the update?

QTS 4.3.4.0486 Build 20180223
JRE 8.151.2 installed
MinimStreamer 0.7.6 installed

No. There was a playlist set up and ready to play on on my ADSM, but it wasn’t actually streaming at the time.

My question was about recording a radio stream to a disk file. Perhaps you had started a recording some time previously and you weren't aware that it was still running.

This is a known problem that will be fixed in the next MinimServer update. It occurs only if the logging level is set to Trace. The recommended setting for normal running is Info or Verbose. If you change the logging level to one of these, you won't get the problem.
