Minimserver closes after opening (mac)

I'm on a mac (high sierra).

When opening minimserver, it shows in the activity monitor for a few seconds, then, presumably crashes and is removed from activity monitor. At no point does it show in the menu bar.

I tried to look for log files in the mac-console app, but the location of the log files is not mentioned in the log section of the website http://minimserver.com/ug-running.html#M...er logging

Does anybody have any advice for my next steps in debugging this?

Are you running MinimServer 0.8.5.2? If not, you should download this version and use it.

The minimserver.log file and minimserver-out.log file are in the /Users/your-user-name/Library/MinimServer folder. Please post the contents of both files.

Ah, thanks. The log file said

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/openhome/net/device/IResourceManager

However, a re-install seemed to fix it (Although pretty sure I was already up to date)

You would get this message if you are running Java 9 and your MinimServer version was older than 0.8.4.7.
