Album art

Hope someone can help, when I click on the minimserver icon on my andriod tablet it then puts up several options, if I select 960 albums it as the album art work, but if I select all artist there is no album art just folder icons, album art is only available when I choose an artist then choose the album is this normal? any advice would be much appreciated

This is normal. Album art can be shown for albums, groups, tracks, playlists and folders but not for artists.
