RE: play DXD music files
I have the same issue. NMR plays DXD files slowly. I don’t understand what to do.

RE: play DXD music files
Thanks for this link. The specification says that it supports resolution up to 32-bit and sampling rate up to 384kHz. This should enable it to play DXD files at full speed.

What device are you using to run MinimServer? Are the files you are playing encoded as DXD format on disk or do you use transcoding to convert the files to DXD during playback?

My server runs on a Synology NAS, I have been using this setup for more than two years, but have not tried to play DXD before. Music in my collection mostly up to 192/24, and DSD256. Everything plays perfectly without conversion.

Now there is an opportunity to purchase albums in DXD, and testing showed such a strange result.

I tried using a laptop with FOOBAR2000 as a media renderer and its play DXD correctly, so I think the problem is not in the server, but in the renderer.

I also tried wav and flac. No difference.

I think you have tried everything that I would have tried. Can you contact the manufacturer of the NMR and ask them why it isn't working for DXD?

For your information. Perhaps someone will find the information useful. It's all about the microswitches on the NMR board, they must be installed in an undocumented position - SW3 "ON". Then everything starts to work fine.
