The specification of the mini PC sounds as though it is like a basic windows tablet with an HDMI output in place of a display. If MinimServer is losing sight of the USB drive, then it might be that is powering down the USB Hub, or the drive. If you look in Device manager, you should be able to find options to disable this for the hub and drive. A crude way of making sure that it didn't power down while you were testing MinimServer would be to play a music file in Groove - this would prevent powering down anything relevant. (Most media players prevent the system from going into power saving - for obvious reasons.) The default settings for Windows 10 are to do fairly comprehensive power saving. However, I think it is much less likely that the problem with the artwork is caused in the same way. MinimServer clearly can read the drive, as it is able to serve the music files. |

This is an interesting idea and there might be a connection with the artwork issue, depending on the timing of when the control point requests artwork and when the renderer requests audio data. |
