Editing library
I am new to Minimserver and have now installed it, and am using it with default configuration.

I have been informed that I can change the library configuration. I want to do this to reduce the number of options I have and the number of levels. However, as much as I have read the guidance, I cannot work out where I actually carry out this editing.

RE: Editing library
Welcome to MinimServer

You use MinimWatch to control MinimServer. This is installed on a PC or MAC.
Further information is available here http://minimserver.com/userguide.html, see sections on Running MinimServer and Monitoring and Control.

The options are in the properties of MinimServer accesssed through MinimWatch. Right click on the MinimWatch icon and select the top properties box.

Hope this helps, post again if you have more questions

Peter

Can you give an example of something that you are seeing at present and what you would like to see instead?

I have obtained the solution from the Linn forums, which is:

"Set the listViewAlbums property to a large number (9999 should be big enough). This will eliminate all second-level choices."

At this stage I don't know the logic behind how this works, but I'm investigating.

For an explanation of List View and its counterpart Tag View, see this section of the User Guide.
