a basic question about streaming radio url's
Hi,
Let me explain the problem I'm trying to solve: - I have a wireless speaker (from Medion, dlna-allplay compatible) - I have a windows 10 laptop I stream my music library (local mp3 files) from windows media player to this speaker. This works However, with windows media player, you can also listen to internet radio. When I enter an internet radio's url, I'm unable to send this stream to the speaker. When I right click on it, the entry to send to speaker is not available. While surfing for a solution, I read that minimserver could do this. However, I just installed it, and I see the minimserver is now available in the 'other libraries' section of windows media player. But I have no idea how I can now send the internet radio url to my wireless speaker. Do I need another minim package? Any help is appreciated. thx, tom |

RE: a basic question about streaming radio url's
There are some instructions for setting this up on this page. The page refers to BBC streams but the same procedure should work for other streams as well.
