Hello everyone !

My minimserver runs on a synology (intel based) with WD red in Rair mode.

I always contemplated the SSD but as my music library weights 1.8T that would be far too costly.

I was interested in Hybrid HDD (SSHD), but thought not worthy as hybrid is interesting when you access the same content many times, which is not that true about music.

But then I thought that the minimserver is constantly being accessed, and therefore could profit from a SSHD, even if the size of it (around 50M) could make it just loaded in the memory of the Synology.

Has someone tested this ?
