Minimwatch can't see Minimserver

Windows firewall off.
Virgin media router without (apparent) IGMP options.
Latest minimserver running on Synology DS115j.
Minimwatch on networked PC running Windows 10.

Any more things I can try?

Does MinimWatch have the correct active subnet? You can check this by selecting Options > Show log (watch) from the minim icon.

It's showing 192.168.0.0. The NAS is accessed at 192.168.0.15.

Yes, that's correct. I think this leaves two possibilities:

1) It's likely to be a multicast problem with your router or switch. How is all your equipment connected to the network?

2) If you are running an antivirus program on the machine running MinimWatch, this might be causing the problem.

Can you see MinimServer from your UPnP control point?

Simon, I just rebooted everything and my miminwatch has turned green. Don't know why it was unhappy before. If the problem comes back I'll let you know but thanks for the advice!

This suggests one more possibility. On my Windows laptop, the wireless network adapter sometimes goes into a state where it can't receive multicast messages. This is sometimes related to sleeping and resuming. I can restore correct multicast operation by disconnecting the laptop from the wireless network and then reconnecting.
