Minim shows Playlists not at right order?
Hello
I have created playlists. The order of the play list that shows MinimServer is different (see first attachment), as the original order (see second attachment). The Synology music server shows the correct order (see third attachment). How can I solve this problem with MinimServer? Thank you very much Stephan First attachment: Second attachment: Tird attachment: Configurarion: Synolpgy Diskstation 216Play, Minim Server: latest Version, BubbleUPNP |

RE: Minim shows Playlists not at right order?
MinimServer sends all playlists to the control point in the order that the tracks appear in the playlist. Some control points apply their own sorting to the list that MinimServer sends and this can change the order you are seeing. Do you have any sorting options (for example, "Smart sort") enabled in BubbleUPnP? Can you try another control point to see if you get the same sort order?

RE: Minim shows Playlists not at right order?
I got it!
MinimServer does not change the order. MinimServer skips all titles of the playlist that have an "ä", "ö", "ü"... in the title or in the path. I hope that this is a problem which, perhaps, can be solved? Thank you! |

RE: Minim shows Playlists not at right order?
.... you gave the answer in another thread.
I have to rename the playlist from *.m3u to *.m3u8, right? |

RE: Minim shows Playlists not at right order?
If a playlist item is skipped because of an accented character not being encoded correctly, you will see a message in the MinimServer log. Looking at the log is a good first step when something doesn't work as you expect.
As I said in the other thread, the playlist filetype must be .m3u8 if the playlist contains UTF-8 characters. |
