Roberts 93i radio

I wonder if you could help please.I have just bought this radio partly because I've read that it works well with MinimServer.I have set everything up and radio is connected to MinimServer and sees all details albums,artists etc but when I try to play anything it attempts to load but then comes up with message "decode error".I have stopped and restarted MinimServer to no avail.Everything else is working as normal.

Thanks for your reply.I did read that thread.That seemed to be an intermittent problem whereas with mine I was getting no functionality at all.I did look at the log but did not see anything.

What is the file format (e.g., FLAC, ALAC, WAV, MP3, MP4) of the files you are trying to play on the 93i?

Are you able to play these files on any other device using MinimServer?

Thanks for your reply.Yes as I said everything else's working normally.I stream ALAC from my Synology NAS 212j to my Linn KDSM.

I have actually just tried this again and it takes me as far as actual track to play and when this is selected it tries to load and only then comes up with "decode error".

From the features list in the 93i user manual:

MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC and WAV formats are supported.

To play your ALAC files on the 93i, you will need to install MinimStreamer and transcode ALAC to WAV or WAV24.
