RE: Skipping album-level
Sorry for the confusion: the albums with various artists already work correctly. I only mentioned this as a contribution to the troubleshooting.
My problem is with the single-artist albums, from which I only have one song in the library. The example with the screenshots shows such a usecase: the album "Rage against the machine" only has the artist "Rage against the machine". Quote:On the library's entrance level I chose the indexTag "Interpret" (renamed from artist) and got a list of all my artists. There I clicked on "Rage against the machine", which took me to screen which is attached as third. It showed me that for the artist "Rage against the machine" there is only only album - the self-titled "Rage against the machine". Clicking on the album took me to the screen that I attached first: The album contains only one track: "Killing in the name". From your first answer I would have expected that in this case the album-level is skipped and the track(s) are shown directly. Or does your comment only apply to albums with various artists? Quote:If the selection contains only one or two tracks from a single album, MinimServer should take you directly to these tracks. If the selection is a single complete album, it isn't possible to skip the album and go directly to the tracks. |

OK, so this an album with only one song and only one artist. This means it is a complete album and MinimServer will show the complete album when the artist is selected. This happens for complete albums with 1 song, 2 songs, 10 songs, 20 songs, etc. If the album is incomplete (as would happen when you select an artist from an album that contains songs by different artists), MinimServer will show a list of songs by that artist with a link to select the complete album. There isn't any way to change either of the above. |

Ah, okay, then my description was a bit unclear. But now I understand that there is no way to avoid this behaviour. Thank you for your answers!
