Transcoding help
Hello!
My name is Andreas and this is my first post Smile

I have installed Minimserver on my Synology 215j and it works really well together with my Naim nd5xs, files are streamed and played correctly and all metadata is showing .

I have flac:wav into the stream.transcode but the Naim app (both from iPad and android phone) and is showing flac…so I suppose I have done something wrong.

I can see Minimserver on my Synology NAS but I cannot see Minimstreamer

Minimwatch is installed on my Windows laptop and the icon is green.
Minimstreamer is installed according to “packages”

The ffmpeg package is installed on my laptop (stream.converter shows ffmpeg). Both field stream.options and stream.record are empty…

I have installed Minimwatch on my laptop when I was at my working place, so the laptop was in another network: could this have caused something to be wrong installed?

Any suggestions how to solve this?

Thank you!

Andreas

RE: Transcoding help
Welcome to the MinimServer forum!

You might need to clear the UPnP cache in the Naim app. The transcoding setting is part of the track URL, so if the Naim app is using a track URL that was created before you enabled transcoding, you will not get transcoding for the track.
