Minimwatch to configure server on Synology

Hello

I am a new user. I installed minimserver on my Synology NAS streaming songs to an Auralic Aries rederer. However, for classical music I don't have the composer information on my ipad control point (Auralics App), which is essential.

Some searching pointed me that I have to do some configuration on the server, and that can be done via Minimwatch.

So I installed Minimwatch on a PC on my network but when I run it all I get is 3 options: Options / Refresh and EXit. <Options> does not have any way to configure the server.

What am I doing wrong?

There are two common reasons for this problem:

1) MinimWatch is being blocked by the Windows firewall. To confirm this, try completely disabling the Windows firewall and see whether this fixes the problem.

2) You have multiple network adapters (real or virtual) and MinimWatch is choosing the wrong adapter. To confirm this, use Options > Show log (watch) to view the MinimWatch log, then look for a line in the log showing the active subnet value. The first three dotted numbers of this value should match the first three dotted numbers of the IP address of the machine that is running MinimServer.

It must have been that. I installed Minimwatch on another computer in my network and it worked!
