Starting Minimserver from command prompt?

Hello, I am trying to start Minimserver in core mode in Server 2012 R2. In this mode there is only the command prompt window.

When I enter java -jar mserver.jar it seems to start Minimserver but then I get an error saying there is an issue with transcoding DSF:wav24;176. I also get an error with convolution. Then the startup process just hangs and a get a prompt "press enter to shutdown".

However, when I run this in the normal GUI environment (from the Minimserver shortcut icon or from mserver.jar), I dont have any errors and Minimserver starts up normally.
