update problem
I recently received a minimserver update notice from my Sinology NAS. After updating I could no longer play music from the Auralic Lightning app on my tablet. The music could not be added to the playlist queue. Auralic has been no help. My PC now also recognizes a new server called LightningServer. Previously. it recognized only minimserver. Lightning server does not work. It goes to Windows Media Player and asks for a disk. Can the minimserver update be the problem?

I don't think the MinimServer update is causing the problem.

LightningServer was recently added to the firmware on the Auralic. It sounds like you received a firmware update from Auralic at about the same time that you received the MinimServer update. I think it is more likely that the problems you are having are related to the Auralic firmware update.

As a first step, try powering off all your equipment (PC, NAS and Auralic) and then powering them on again. Does this help?

Thanks for the info but it didn't work.

It sounds like it is likely to be a network problem. Try powering off everything in your network and then powering it on in this order:

1) Router (then wait 3 minutes)
2) Any switches or wireless access points (then wait 3 minutes)
3) All other equipment (PC, NAS, Auralic, etc.)
