MinimWatch 2.2

RE: MinimWatch 2.2
I think you are seeing 'Renew DHCP lease' (only) because you have removed the Ethernet cable.

I am not familiar with the Mesh system and I don't know how it can be confgured to provide a DHCP address on the correct subnet. The advice you have received to use a static IP address is a workaround for DHCP problems such as this. Allocating a static IP address is problematical because it might conflict with a dynamic DHCP address used by some other device (for example, your Melco which is somehow acquiring a DHCP address on the correct subnet).

You might be able to get this working by plugging in the Ethernet cable and clicking 'Renew DHCP lease' on the TCP/IP tab for the Ethernet adapter. If this has worked, you will see an Ethernet address starting with 192.168.68. If this doesn't work (i.e., you get an address starting with 192.168.178), you will need specialist networking advice from someone who is familiar with the Mesh system.

RE: MinimWatch 2.2
Hi Simon, I think the problem may have been solved, having just spoken to my broadband supplier. He suggested plugging the ethernet cable from my iMac directly into one of the Mesh modules rather than into the back of the router (so it is effectively on the same network as the Melco). This seems to have worked and MinimWatch is back up and running. Thankyou for all your help in this matter.
