Any realistic hope for .OGG support?
Hi Simon,
I know you looked into this but had to put it aside. It is not a format I am using myself but since my Girlfriend has a lot of albums stored in .ogg format I'd just like to check if there is a realistic possibility for it to become supported? Othewise it is eiter telling her they can't be played, convert them to mp3, or buy an awful lot of CD's. Neither option is great ![]() Cheers, Per. |

RE: Any realistic hope for .OGG support?
Thanks Simon. In the meantime one of the helpful Linn users came to my rescue by suggesting DBPoweramp Batchjob. It took only 4 hours or so to convert all the 3'500 .ogg files to FLAC, incl. folder structure.
So everyone is happy and it is off my list of feature requests. She sends a big thank you for the option of browsing by tag within a folder. Brillant idea. Per. |

RE: Any realistic hope for .OGG support?
Just saw this thread here and would like to vote again for ogg support. I am still hoping for this feature as I have too many tracks in ogg that I do not want to recode (pump up) to flac. So I always am switching between minimserver and the synology media server.
