Hi All,

Is it possible to have MiniServer sort by artist (or album artist) and ignore a leading "The"?

I can't always remember if the band name includes a "The" as part of the name and this leads to searching down the "R" index, then saying "...oh, yeah..." and then going back up and into the "T" index.

I know I could rename everything, but am curious if there is a setting or configuration option I've missed.

There is a setting to do this. See this section and look for Artist.ignore.sort.
