L_A: Thanks for your comment. There is a lot of bad engineering in the streamer category. Not to say there aren't some good products, but the proportion of bad ones put out by respected companies is dismaying.
I solved the clicks in my system by trading the MiND for an Auralic Aries. All clicks are entirely gone, AND pause and seek now work reliably. I'll write a brief review of the Aries after its Android control software is released. The dealer really didn't want to sell it to me before that, because it does more with its own software than a standard UPnP control point. It uses the OpenHome model, like Linn.
