Newbie in MinimServer

i have installed MininServer on my synology and linked my lib music to it and it running without any issue, but what should be happend after that? i mean do i need to see something happend iwith my music? or?

what do you use to play back your music? You should have some kind of UpnP compatible player or streamer and a control point to select the music you want to play back. The server itself just "serves" the music to these devices but doesnt play back anything on its own.

Thanks for your reply, I have bunch of devices such iPads, iPhones and my pioneer 1123,
I understood that the tags will be auto corrected.. Or I'm wrong?

The Pioneer 1123 is a UPnP renderer (streaming player), so you should be able to stream music to this from MinimServer. MinimServer will use the tags in your files and won't make any changes or corrections to these tags. You also need UPnP control point software running on your iPad or iPhone. Some examples of this software are 8player and PlugPlayer.
