I'm glad to hear that.

Quote:2.) content of "year" tag is shown in plugplayer unfortunately in all variations. So i have more than one entry e.g. 2010 and 2010/7/7. Twonky shows only the first 4 digits, so only one entry for one year. Is it possible also to show only the first 4 digits (2010) ?

There's no setting to do this at the moment. I'd like to add the capability for MinimServer to recognize tagged dates in various formats. I think some people wouldn't be happy if MinimServer automatically truncated all dates to the first 4 digits, so I'll need to add an option to show either the full date or just the year. This is on my list of planned improvements for a future release.

Yes, you can do this. You need to use multiple GENRE tags in the same file, such as
GENRE=Orchestral
GENRE=Symphony

In Mp3tag, you can do this by using '\\' as a separator in the tag value. For example, if you put 'Orchestral\\Symphony' in the Genre field, you'll get the above two tags in your files.

yabadabadoo that´s a realy useful information, So i build me an action in mp3tag which replaces "," with "\\" in tag genre for all tracks. I tried it and it works great

There will be support for indexing dates as 4 digits in the next release. This should be available within the next few days.

Thanks for posting this information.

MinimServer currently reads the TYER value and ignores the TDAT value. I'll put TDAT support on the list of things to add in a future release.
