Minimserver on QNAP(arm)startup error
After installing minimserver and testing (works), on reboot of the NAS, I get the following:

600 Error 2/12/2014 11:57:05 System 127.0.0.1 localhost MinimServer error: JRE is not installed and enabled.
601 Warning 2/12/2014 11:57:23 System 127.0.0.1 localhost MinimServer status set to disabled.

I re-enabled the server, and was able to start minimserver manually. The JRE was installed using JRE_7.qpkg from QNAP and is the current version.

It seems that on boot up, MinimServer is starting before the JRE has started.

Which version of the QNAP firmware are you running?

Where exactly did you get the JRE_7.qpkg download?

Are you running MinimServer 0.8.1?

I'm running QTS 4.1.0
The qpkg came off the QNAP Forum...
Yes, MinimServer 0.8.1 Release 19

I went back and checked my installations as I recalled I did multiple iterations of things. Anyway, when I looked into the qpkg.conf file, the JRE section was at the end of the file. When I bumped it up before MinimServer, in the files, and rebooted the NAS, it started up without error. I guess when the system boots it must attend to the qpkg programs in the order they appear in the configuration file.

Thanks for posting this solution. I think this out-of-order startup can happen if Java is reinstalled after MinimServer has been installed. For users who don't feel comfortable with editing .conf files, it should be possible to solve this by uninstalling MinimServer and Java, and then reinstalling Java first before reinstalling MinimServer.
