How to add fields - cannot find userTags
Hello!

I was looking to follow the instructions about UserTags here:
http://minimserver.com/userguide.html#Sorting album lists

But I cannot find "userTags" property in the Settings...
Could you help?

I am interested in adding a few fields that I use for classical. I manage these fields with JRMC.
Examples:
- Style - a sub category for Genre. Examples: "Concerto", "Opera and Vocal", "Recital", "Sonata", "Symphonies" and others..
- Period - "Baroque", "Classical", "Romantic", and such..

1) Is it possible to use these fields?
They are not user-defined, they are standard in JRMC
2) Is it also possible to use new custom fields?

A possible problem about Style field. In JRMC we can store a big string of text. For Classical I will make sure I have only one style, but for Other genres like jazz, I can have several. Sonny Rollins's "Night in Tunisia" has the following Style content: "Bop; Hard Bop; Jazz Instrument; Saxophone Jazz".
So, one long string with no multiple values, like in the Artist field.
How is MinimServer dealing with this?

Thanks!

This field is now named 'indexTags'. My apologies for the confusion caused by the out-of-date documentation. Please see the release notes for 0.50 on the Release notes page for a list of recent changes. I'll fix the User guide page soon.

Yes, you can add any tag name to indexTags.

I'd recommend that you tag this as multiple values. This will make it much easier to find what you need in the Style index. In Mp3tag, you can do this by using '\\' as the separator instead of ';'. You can also set up a "split fields by separator" action in Mp3tag to automate this.
