Running multiple instances
I followed the instructions in this thread and successfully got two instances running, one pointing at my mp3 files and the other at my flac files. My reason was to make it easier to only "see" mp3 files from my smart TV, which cannot render flac files.

I have found that both BubbleUpnp and foobar can only see one of the instances. This is obviously not a minimserver problem, but I wonder if anyone else has experienced this and found a solution.

Have you changed the displayName properties of the different instances so that each instance has a unique display name?

Did you copy the minimserver.config file from one instance to the other? If you did, this would explain the problem. You need to start each instance initially from an empty config file.

I named each instance differently so I could distinguish them, but your second point is the answer I think. I had simply copied the existing installation folder to two new folders and tweaked the names accordingly! I'll do two clean installs and hopefully that will fix it.

It's most gratifying to have such rapid response to problems Simon, and I thank you.
