Problem trying to see my music
I installed MinimServer yesterday on my MacBook (Snow Leopard) but although the installation seems to have gone OK, I can't "see" my music files in MinimServer anywhere.

I have Songbook as my control point and this can't find the files in MinimServer either.

It's quite possible that I'm either doing something wrong or failing to do something necessary. Any advice would be gratefully received. Cheers in advance.

Do you have a minim icon in the menu bar? If you select Properties from this icon's pop-up menu, what do you see for contentDir? This property should be set to the location of your music files. If the value isn't correct, enter the correct value, then press OK and select Restart from the pop-up menu.

If your contentDir setting is correct, there might be a firewall problem. Try disabling the Mac firewall to see if this improves things. If this is the problem, you'll need to create an exception in the firewall for the MinimServer application.
