Minimserver hang

Problem
1. Minimserver full license got hang often on folder view. I am runnning on ipad and accessing NAS. Out of 10, abt 3 it got hung on avg. No hanging via Tidal and Spotify.

2. After seleced a folder to listen to, Minimserver will always go back to the root directory. The music still plays on. If I want to select a new foldet ot listen to, I have start all over again, chose folder view and browse from top.
Can't it stay at the recent folder that I selected.

Which device is Lumïn app running on and which kind of NAS are you using?
How big is your library?
Do you update Lumïn app music library every time you change something in MinimServer library (add/remove albums/tracks) or in Minimserver configuration after a Minimserver rescan?

A hang when playing music is usually a network-related or NAS-related issue. If you are playing high-resolution files or using MinimStreamer to transcode files to a high resolution, this puts more load on the network and NAS and can sometimes cause a hang.

I tried this. If I tap the grey and white back button at the bottom of the screen after a folder has finished playing, this takes me back to my position in the previous list of folders. I think this is what you want. If I tap the grey and black back button near the top of the screen, this takes me back to the start of the previous list of folders. This behaviour is controlled by the LUMIN app and MinimServer cannot do anything to change it.

I am runing on an Asustor NAS, most of the time is runing fine, certain time when I click the folder view, I cant see any music files but the music is playing fine.
See the attachment of my NAS.

whenever I made changes to my music librabry, I will rescan and stop start the minimserver app.

in my folder vierw, I have 1367 items

While playing the music still plays on, but occassionally I the fiolder view went blank. I hv to exit Lumin app and enter again, then the folder view will reappear,

How do u indexed the minimserver music library besides rescan/load music library?

I am away from home today. I will post the image tomorrow.

If you always use folder view for browsing, it's a good idea to set the showExtras property to false. This removes the >> Tag View browsing selections.
