Minimserver 2.2 Update 248 - problems encountered
I am using Minimserver as the music library for my Lumin player. Minimserver is running v2.2 update 248 on ASUSTOR NAS.

1. Two nights ago, I downloaded v2.2 update 248.
2. This was followed by adding some music files to the library and rescanning Minimserver.
3. When I tried to play music on the Lumin U2 mini, there were some problems with the playback (later found out to be loose cable), so I thought that it was related to the Minimserver upgrade.
4. I therefore reloaded the entire music library. That did not solve the problem.
5. Long story short, I ended up clearing the cache on the Minimserver and rebuild the library from scratch.
6. As a result, I had to reload the music library on the Lumin app as well.
7. After the reload, my entire set of icons to select songs, albums, artists, genres are gone from the Lumin app. Refer to attached pictures. I have checked with the Lumin customer service and they advised to contact Minimserver.

Here I am. How do I troubleshoot this problem. In the worst case, how can I roll back to update 247?

I am running Minimserver 2.2 update 248 with Lumin app 9.1.3 with no issues.

Are you able to try a different control point to check if Minimserver is running ok? The Linn Kazoo app should work ok with a Lumin player.

Like Peter@57m Lumin is working fine with the latest update in my case.

No probs for me too ,
Lumin U1 Mini , but I use the Lumin app (Android) only for the settings of the Lumin .
Bubble UPNP DS is working much better for me .

What do you see if you select the middle icon - the folder view. Do you see the Minimserver index hierarchy?

Some things to check:
had the minimserver rescan completed when you did the Lumin rebuild. Have you tried the rebuild Lumin again
is Lumin pointing to the correct instance of minimserver in the Lumin Library options
is Minimserver using the correct properties. You don't say you changed anything but worth a check
does the album view correctly show all your albums

It does seem very odd, I've not seen this. Were you able to try a different control point such as Kazoo to see if it picked up album, artist etc?

That happens when the Lumïn library reload task is not ended when you close the app, or the connection with Minimserver get lost for some reason, therefore the Lumïn app internal db is empty or corrupted.
The reload task (and the library update task as well) needs the app is active, it doesn’t work when the app is in background as in that case it stops abnormally.
You need to wait until the task is ended, to recover this abnormal state you need to reload Minimserver library from Lumïn app settings menu

The 2nd picture was taken while the loading is in progress. I waited until the loading was completed before taking the 3rd picture, that's when I discovered that the other tags were missing.

I think I may have found the reason but I am doing more tests to validate.
