Recording via Date and Time
I suppose it is not possible yet.
Would it be a great thing to add a Time and Date Setting in the website of minimstreamer to set recordings? Thanks for an answer. |

RE: Recording via Date and Time
At present, you can set a future time within the next 24 hours but not a future date.
If the option to set a future date were to be added to MinimStreamer at some point, how would you use it? For example, do you want to schedule a single recording on a future date or do you want to record a radio program every week at the same time and the same day of the week? |

RE: Recording via Date and Time
Dear Simon,
the best case would be an own row of a radio station , like in the Quote:contentdir Properties with the possibiltiy to add and remove. Then possibly the settings in a column to set the date and start and end time of recording, and a dop down to set repeat (none, daily, or weekly). Maybe others also want it. |

RE: Recording via Date and Time
I agree that something like this would be a useful enhancement to MinimStreamer. It doesn't easily fit into how the current Properties dialog is implemented, so it would need a new user interface and this would take some time to design and implement.

RE: Recording via Date and Time
This is already available but not via a button. To start recording a stream, enter the stream ID in the stream.record property and click OK. To stop recording the stream, remove the stream ID from the stream.record property and click OK.

The stream.record can be used to prepare and the others can be used to operate. That's what i mean. |

RE: Recording via Date and Time
Thanks for clarifying your suggestion. I agree that this should be included in the redesign.

RE: Recording via Date and Time
One additional idea.
In recording there may be the interest to write metadata defined by settings in own columns.

RE: Recording via Date and Time
MinimServer and MinimStreamer do not write metadata to audio files. If a user wants to do this, they should use a tagging program.
