How can BubbleUPnP Server proxy a LUMIN? I tried recently to use BubbleUPnP Server to proxy an OpenHome renderer (not LUMIN) but it seemed it would only allow me to proxy a UPnP AV renderer.

Well, I do not know. But it works like with any other streamer I did own. I do not have to configure anything special. Just set the checkbox for proxying.

The U1 mini does support "UPnP AV protocol with audio streaming extension (OpenHome)". So if it is UPnP it might should work?

But I do not know much about the internal specs of the UPnP protocol.

You can proxy a mediaserver not a renderer …
How have you configured Bubbleupnpserver?

I am seeing the same page as you, with no OpenHome renderers listed.

Is the LUMIN U1 mini a server? I thought it was a renderer. Perhaps @tarnkappe was not using BubbleUPnP Server to proxy the LUMIN U1 mini but was using it to proxy the server.

Lumïn is (only) a renderer, I don’t own any Lumïn streamer but tried to activate OpenHome on RoPieeeXL and the RoPieeeXL/OpenHome device is not shown in Bubbleupnpserver …

I see the lumin U1 mini streamer in the renderer tab and can check the „create open home renderer“ checkbox. Unfortunately I do not know how to upload a screenshot from an iPad. Maybe it works tomorrow from a PC.

Thanks for posting this.

I think this must mean that the LUMIN U1 mini supports "classic" UPnP AV as well as OpenHome, even though the LUMIN app is OpenHome only. This would be similar to Linn streamers and Linn Kazoo.

I have just received an e mail from Linn saying they have released an Android control app.
I do not use Android, so cannot comment.
