Thanks, I'll give it a try. The earlier version of LUMIN I'm still running is 7.2.0. Not sure of the version histories, but the problems started after 8.x.x., two versions prior to 8.5.1 if I remember correctly. That it still runs fine with an earlier version of the app appears to point to the app and not other software. Odd, however, that stefano_mbp has no problems with pause on iOS.

With 7.2.0, I can also confirm that pause still works.

Is it possible to revert to an earlier version of the app?

The Lumïn app pause issue was solved with a beta version (0.9-update44p1) as described here and the official version 0.9-update44 was released on 2022 October 23rd

… anyway the Teac HR Streamer (same Lumïn “family”) should solve all your issues

I'll give the Teac app a try, but it's frustrating that LUMIN has stopped working for me and I can't work out why. My problems appear to have started with the release of v8.5 last month, all other software is up to date, and v7.2.0 is working fine on another M1 Mac.

Also just looked at the version history, and all was fine up until, and including, 8.4.1.

I suppose you have tried uninstalling Lumin completely including all/any settings and downloading it again.

Yes, I've tried reinstalling.

I've now tried HR Streamer and see what people mean by it being a lookalike, if a little behind LUMIN. It's solved my problems with being unable to view Artist/Composer, and may even be faster and with more reliable connectivity.

I'll keep trying with LUMIN, however, and report back if I find a solution.

Another lookalike is the Esoteric app, a slight different colour schema, software version looks to be the same as the Teac HR Streamer app.

I tried the Esoteric app too, but there were a couple of files that it wouldn't load, and also appeared a bit slow.

I have tried lumin 8.5.1 iOS with a lumin U1 mini and with BubbleUPnPServer as proxy for the U1 mini. In both cases the pause function works here.
